Getting Started

The first step is always the toughest so we'll help get you going.  You're here because you're looking for solutions.  But, you have no idea how this "outsourcing" scenario works.  Well, it's pretty simple.

  • First, you must determine what it is that you need.  We can help with that.

  • Second, you have to evaluate all the information you received from the various vendors who are wanting to fulfill your needs.

  • Third, you have to select one of these vendors.

  • And, finally, you contact us...we mean...the desired vendor and make arrangements!

Here are a few more tips:

  • Ask for a fixed rate price.  You have a budget and your vendor should be able to keep you within that budget.

  • Know your approximate due dates.  Some vendors are going to want to "work you in" to their schedules.  And, that may not fit your needs!

Step 1: Determining Your Needs.  It's very common to have no clue as to what you need or where to begin.  Usually, we find that a client knows where they want to end up, e.g., with a user guide or online help system.  However, getting from here to there is a complete mystery.  (Well, maybe it’s a mystery to you, but not to us!)  That’s where our experience steps in!  It allows us to quickly understand what you want, recommend the best solution, and deliver your end product in the fastest time possible.  (And, no, we’re not surprised that you have a deadline that sits very close on the horizon that you’re trying to meet.  That’s typical!)

Step 2: Reviewing Incoming Information. The information is pouring in and you just can't get a handle on all the pieces.  So, here's what we suggest: determine the one most important factor in your project--due date, price, final end product look, etc. Then, review your notes and see who can deliver on this key component.

Step 3: Selecting Your Vendor. You've now emailed and faxed and talked to everyone under the sun, and reviewed and re-reviewed all the "stuff."  So, how do you decide?  Again, go back to the most important factor and make your selection based on that factor alone.   Still can't decide? Then call us.  Even if we're not one of your choices, we only want you to get the best results.  (Remember, if you use someone else and they don't perform as expected, you're going to come back to us to either fix what’s already been done or come to us first the next time around!)

Step 4: Calling Us With the Good News! We've guided you through the "need to find someone" process easily.  In most cases, if you’ve given us the chance to win your business, you also found out exactly how much this “adventure” is going to cost you.  We hope that's all you require to decide that we are the "write" choice for your project!
